To earn an Advanced CSM, you must have an active CSM® certification with Scrum Alliance®, in addition to demonstrating at least one-year work experience specific to the role a Scrum Master.
Yes, the A-CSMâ„ is also available as an online course.
Yes. The required work experience can be met before, after or during the course of your A-CSMâ„ training. Your education component can be completed while you earn work experience as a ScrumMaster. Remember that you will need to enter at least one year of your ScrumMaster work experience on your Scrum Alliance dashboard in order to gain the A-CSMâ„ certification. The A-CSMâ„ credential is good for two years. The process for renewal of the credential is still being determined by Scrum Alliance.

Steps to get A-CSMâ„ Certification
Step 1: You must hold an active CSM certification from Scrum Alliance in order to be eligible for A-CSMâ„ .
Step 2: Attend 2-day of A-CSMâ„ course from a REP of Scrum Alliance.
Step 3: Complete all the learning components including pre- or post-course work and all educator-designed components.
Step 4: Accept the A-CSMâ„ license agreement and complete your Scrum Alliance membership profile.
Step 5: Exhibit your 1-year of work experience as a Scrum Master.

Steps to Apply to Claim SFC and Avail UTAP
Not sure how to get started with applying for UTAP support and claiming SFC? Just follow these simple steps:
Step 1: Get enrolled
- Enrol in our Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM®) training.
Step 2: Apply for the SFC claim
- Check out KnowledgeHut’s upcoming schedules and select a workshop on a date convenient to you. An invoice will be issued to you with the fee breakdown.
- Follow this step-by-step process in the MySkillsFuture portal:
a. Login to the MySkillsFuture portal, select the course you’re enrolling into and enter course date and schedule
b. Enter the course fee payable by you (including GST) and enter the amount of credit to claim
c. Upload your invoice and click ‘Submit’

Step 3: Apply for the UTAP Support
