Prerequisites :

To apply for the PMI-ACP®, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  1. General Project Experience
  • 2000 hours of working on project teams within the last 5 years or having an active PMP®/PgMP® credential
  1. Agile Project Experience
  • 1500 hours of working on Agile Project Teams or with Agile Methodologies, in addition to “General Project Experience” above;
  1. Training in Agile Practices;
  • 21 contact hours earned in Agile Practices
Certification :

To take the PMI-ACP®Certification Exam, candidates need to register and create a login at the PMI’s Online System.

The Exam:

The computer-based PMI-ACP® examination is comprised of 120 multiple-choice questions and has to be completed in 3 hours. 100 questions are scored, and 20 pre-test questions which are not scored will be distributed randomly through the exam.

Please note that the credential must be maintained in 3 year cycles, by adding 30 PDUs in agile project management per three year cycle.

With the exception of the CAPM® credential, all those who earn a PMI® certification must actively maintain their certifications through participation in the CCR (Continuing Certification Requirements) Program and renewal of their certifications every 3 years. You can take part in professional development and learning activities to earn Professional Development Units (PDUs),thus fulfilling the continuing certification requirements and ultimately growing and developing as a practitioner.

To maintain your PMI-ACP® certification, you must earn and record 30 PDUs every 3 years.

At present, Scrum Alliance members who hold a Certified Scrum Professional®, Certified Enterprise Coach and/or Certified Scrum Trainer credential need to earn SEUs to get recertified. PDUs are offered by the PMI®, and every PMI® certification, except the CAPM®,requires you to earn a specific number of PDUs per three-year certification cycle.

You will receive the PMI-ACP® certification that is provided by the PMI® institute, on successfully passing the exam.

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT EXAMINATION FOR PMI-ACP CERTIFICATION COURSE IN BRATISLAVA?

Other exam rules

A ) No writing material or other objects should be brought into the site.

B ) Scrap book, pencil, calculators and others would be provided.

C ) Impersonating others or showing any disruptive behavior inside the exam center would lead to temporary or permanent barring from taking up PMI-ACP®examination.

D ) Any other misconduct during examination would also lead to barring.

Exam score

Your score would be generated immediately. Those who pass the examination would receive their certification through online certification system, after ten days. Those who failed can learn the areas where they performed well and worse. The candidates can take up the re-test twice within the one-year time eligibility period.
