Certification

Prerequisites:

Participants who complete the accredited two-day Kepner-Tregoe Foundation course are eligible to take the certification exam.

Certification:

Candidates who successfully clear the exam will receive the Kepner-Tregoe Foundation certification.

The Exam

The Kepner-Tregoe Foundation Exam is a 60 minute closed book exam, consisting of 40 multiple-choice questions. You need to get a passing score of 26/40 (65%) to earn the certification. Non-native English speakers will have up to 75 minutes to complete the exam and are allowed to use a dictionary.
The exam is offered using webcam proctoring. Students have an option to select the exam place and date that is also convenient to the exam proctors.

While there are no prerequisite for attending the workshop, in order for participants to be eligible to take the Kepner-Tregoe Foundation Exam, they have to participate in an accredited Kepner-Tregoe Foundation training course for 2 days.

You will get 16 PDUs, 16.5 CPEs on certification. Kepner-Tregoe has been recognized by PMI®, the Project Management Institute, as a Global Registered Education Provider (provider #1163). One PDU is equivalent to one contact hour.

Continuing Professional Education credits (CPE’s) are offered by National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Kepner-Tregoe, Inc. is registered with the NASBA as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors.

PDUs are credits awarded by the Project Management Institute. Every PMI® certification, except the CAPM®, requires you to earn a specific number of PDUs per three-year certification cycle.
