Chris is a Project Manager in a wide variety of IT and business change projects. Never afraid to ask the 'dumb' questions that often prove insightful, he is a firm believer in planning the work with stakeholders and then getting the entire team working on the plan. He has conducted trainings on PMP, Agile and Scrum and Business Case Writing. He holds several niche certifications and qualifications such as PMP, PgMP and others. Service Delivery Manager for Axon at Fulton Hogan, setting up advanced (level 2/3 HelpDesk) on-site support team of around 4 people, and coordinating further project personnel. (c. 7 months full-time)
Project Manager for Fulton Hogan for their “Project CONNECT” to bring a purchased company, EnviroWaste into the Fulton Hogan domain – c.150 users, and 28 sites. (c.7 months effort)
Project Manager for Fulton Hogan for their “Project Blade”, a major reshuffling of production servers (c.2 months effort)
Project Manager for several websites - internet, extranet and intranet - covering new sites and upgrades to existing sites. Exposure to EPiServer, Sharepoint and .Net technologies
Contract Project Manager for several projects, including
- WAN changes for ECAN following quake of 22/2/2011
- Setup of new WAN for CDHB
- IP Accounting changes
- Changes to core infrastructure
Contract Project Manager for a range of IT projects, including:
- oversight of networking for the new AMI Stadium
- introduction of NICE Perform eXpress call recording to the Call Centre
- initiation of project to replace c.13 very old in-situ servers at City Water and Waste
Major projects included;
- Initiation and Planning of project to upgrade Maximo Enterprise Asset Management System.
- Initiation, Planning and initial Execution of "eMeds" project to replace paper systems in prescribing and administration of medicines across CDHB.

Hired to concentrate on detailed scheduling using Microsoft Office Project 2013.
Actual work was co-ordination of part of project to create a new B/OSS (Business/Operational Support System).
Architected and documented the Project Management module for Avonmore's CN609 Computer Network Engineering L6: Server Infrastructure course, as can be seen on
The course is intended to give students, equivalent to University year 2, an introduction to project management with emphasis on being able to contribute as a project team member.
Tutoring very small classes of Avonmore-enrolled students Open poly course, 71353 Project Management - 1 student first semester, 3 students second semester. The course is a mixture of theory and practical management of a simulated project using the theory and practical introduction to Microsoft Office Project 2016.
