I am a part of an architecture board that has been formed with the intention to prepare an architecture strategy and to govern it so that all development happens according to the IT strategy. It is also responsible to understand the business goals and align the IT Strategy accordingly. I am a TOGAF Certified architect and we are analyzing the TOGAF and Zachman Framework at the moment.
I am also a part of a team that helps other application teams in building their architecture and design and provides consulting and training on subjects such as choice of technology, layering, structuring, application lifecycle management, development methodologies such as agile / scrum, etc.
This team also provides subject matter expertise on various Microsoft Technologies such as Microsoft Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, Entity Framework as a Data Access Strategy.
Last but not the least, I am involved with various organizational development activities such as, I am leading a program called Invesco Learns. This encourages a learning culture through book clubs, toastmasters, distinguished guest lectures and interest groups such as photography club, etc. I am also involved with an executive program that is focusing on creating a performance culture. I am representing the entire IT in Hyderabad, along with the IT Station Head. I am also involved in various executive level CSR and Branding initiatives.
Senior architect in the architecture group of Invesco with the objectives of aligning the IT Strategy with the business vision and goals.
Responsibilities include executing the current state future state roadmap, reviewing projects across Invesco to ensure they meet the long term IT Strategy and technology standards, coming up with technology blueprint, providing guidance and bootcamp training on Software Development Lifecycle processes such as Agile, Scrum and CMMi.
Responsibilities include providing subject matter expertise on Microsoft Technologies, data access strategies, etc through presentations to a global audience.

Moved from enterprise architecture to solution architecture, from application to infrastructure and from financial services to healthcare with the intent to diversify. This is an integrator role between the EA team, applications teams and Operations. It also has a component of vendor management.

Engineering and solution design: To design new services and solutions, lead technical design in changes and projects foster a “solution view” from the customer point of view, balancing Novartis standards and practices as well as business specific demands and solutions
Governance and ownership: Has a seat at the divisional architecture board, performing joint evaluation, solution approval and support for change and if applicable governance of process design
Lead Architecture: Responsible for overseeing the solution architecture team, ensuring the coordination of this team in overall planning activities and service delivery, act as a single point of contact for a specific business group. Represent global infrastructure services team in the global architecture community. Align strongly with the enterprise architecture group, working on reference architectures and the cloud roadmap.
