Risto Reinikainen has an extensive 20+ years’ career in international project and program management in both government and private sector. He has been running large line organizations in the telecom industry with more than 700 professionals working for him.
Past few years he has been deeply involved in implementing Lean/Agile methods in practice. Currently, Risto is heading the Lean-Agile Center of Excellence (LACE), which is implementing the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) in a large organization. The center is responsible for creating the vision and roadmap, training the people, supporting the start of Agile Release Trains (ARTs), starting the new portfolio management work and implementing the new development model.
Risto has extensive experience in mentoring and tutoring individuals and professionals who want to learn about implementing SAFe. His qualifications include the SAFe Program Consultant certification.

I was heading the B2B activities within TeliaSonera’s Customer Operations/Customer Channels organisation. My unit had at it's largest around 700 persons in 13 locations around Finland and was responsible for delivery, management and support of ICT-services and solutions to more than 100 000 corporate and community customers. Together with my Customer Care, Delivery, Communications Services, Professional Services and Support departments we worked in close cooperation with various subcontractors and vendors both in Finland and abroad.
The delivery and production of B2B services were combined together into Managed Voice and Applications unit serving all Nordic and Baltic customers. The unit was distributed in about 40 locations in Sweden and Finland with around 270 persons in Sweden and 140 persons in Finland and was responsible for all TeliaSonera’s Managed Datacenter services, Contact Center platforms, Alarm and Remote Metering services, incident management and subcontracting in these areas.
I was the program manager for TeliaSonera’s strategic development program, which was reaponsible for consolidating many of our CRM, ERP and billing systems into Oracle EBS and Geneva Billing platforms.
