You will have to attend two days of training from a Scrum Inc. Trainer following which you will be required to take an exam and demonstrate your knowledge of Scrum to get the credential. Once you pass the exam, you can download your credential instantly and become a Registered Scrum Master™.

No, your credential will not mention the mode in which you have attended the course. It will look the same as the in-person credential.

The Scrum framework is evolving and growing due to the engagement and contributions of those who share their ideas and practical experiences in the workplace. Renewal of your credential validates your interest in the growth and evolution of Scrum.

The Scrum Inc. Scrum Master certification is valid for a period of one year.

Students must renew their Registered Scrum Master™ credential annually within one month from the expiration date. The renewal fee for Registered Scrum Master™ credential costs $50 (USD).

Registered Scrum Master™ Workshop Experience

The Registered Scrum Master™ workshop at KnowledgeHut will be held online via live and interactive instructor-led training sessions.

The conventional in-person Scrum Master training from Scrum Inc. will be delivered for 2-days (14-16 hours). The online training being offered by Scrum Inc through KnowledgeHut, is for about 14 hours.

The online course is divided into several classes of shorter hours, unlike the in-person class that has 2 sessions, each 7 to 8 hours long.

If you miss a class, you can access the class recordings from our LMS at any time. At the beginning of every session, there will also be a 10-12 minutes of recapitulation of the previous class.

This is a live online training where you will be coached by Scrum Inc. Trainers. 

We currently use the Zoom platform for video conferencing and will soon be adding more integrations with Webex and Microsoft Teams. However, all the sessions and the recordings will be available right from within our learning platform. Learners will not need to wait for any notifications or links or install any additional software.
