The exam fee for PMP® certification is the same all over the globe. It is charged in US dollars by the Project Management Institute (PMI). Training Costs: It is compulsory to complete 35 hours of training before the PMP® exams. The training can be taken either in an instructor-led setting or in a classroom setup. Log in to www.prometric.com for scheduling the exam in the quickest and easiest way in Chennai. After logging in, follow the given steps for confirming the candidature for PMP® examination in Chennai. The steps are as follows:
Step 1: After logging in, you need to select the test sponsor from the director and then click on the search button. The test sponsor for the PMP® exams is PMI- Project Management Institute.

Step 4: After confirming India as your country of domicile, the landing page will offer you all the information you need about the PMP® examination. The information provided to you will include online scheduling of the examination, cancellation and rescheduling policy, time of arrival to the exam center, documents needed for the test, accommodations, and the eligibility criteria for PMP®.
Step 6: In the next page you reach, you will have to put in the present eligibility ID that you got from PMI after the payment procedure was completed. You will also need to enter the first four characters of your last name.
Step 7: If the information, which you provided as above, matches, you will reach the page where you will be given the option to choose a time and date for the exam from the list of available options.
Step 8: The appointment is complete after the verification process is over, you have chosen your examination center, and provided all the other necessary information.
Step 9: There is no need to pay a fee to Prometric. You will just have to pay $405 to PMI after the application is approved.
Step 10: After this, comes the big step of the process. You need to reach the Prometric Testing Center in Chennai with the government ID for verification. You will need to answer 200 questions within the duration of four hours.
Step 11: You must attempt all the 200 questions, and you will get the results as soon as you submit the test.
You can apply for the PMP® exam three times using the same eligibility ID in case you are unable to pass the exam at the first attempt. You will just have to pay $275 to PMI to reschedule the exam through Prometric in Chennai. In case you are unable to pass the exam in the third attempt, you will have to go through the entire process of application one more time from the beginning.
Rescheduling the exam was really easy in Prometric, but now, you have to pay a certain amount for rescheduling the exam. If you want a refund for PMP® certification, you must forward a request to the Project Management Institute thirty days before the expiry of the exam eligibility. After the refund is processed, the application gets closed and the validity of the eligibility period is over.
