Microsoft Power BI Course

Data visualization has forever changed the way businesses operate. From simplifying the way data is presented and studied to make the whole process of drawing inferences from data easier, data visualization has made data analysis very creative and interesting. The future is all about business intelligence and data visualization is a key part of this. This is why there is a huge demand for professionals who know how to use data visualization tools such as MS Power BI. The average annual pay for a Data Visualization Developer in the United States is $114,276 a year and if the statistics are to be believed, then it will only rise in the future. There is no better time than now to join this Microsoft Power BI course and step into a career in data visualization and Business Intelligence.

You don’t need any prior knowledge to take up this Power BI training but you should have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts. And also it is better if you have an understanding of how data works.

Being Studying Data Science I come to know that visualization is very important along with applying algorithms over data. That’s when I decided to go for visualization tools which are the most famous ones are Like Power BI, Tableau, Qlik view, Qlik Sense, etc. So, after research and with the help of Gartner’s report(available at ) I realized that Power BI has the most advanced features in it rather than any other tools for analysing and visualizing data. And it is a Microsoft Product so it is more safe and secure to deal with your precious data.

There is no such prerequisite for pursuing this course. If you have the interest to play with data, extract insights of it and with lite knowledge of SQL & Data warehouse. This course will help you to build your career towards newly cutting-edge technology and has stunning visualization to create compelling dashboards and reports for organizations.

There are no restrictions but participants would benefit if they have elementary programming knowledge and familiarity with Excel

For Power BI Desktop application we require the following System Hardware and Software:

  1. Windows 7 / Windows Server 2008 R2, or later.
  2. .NET 4.5 is required.
  3. Internet Explorer 9 or later.
  4. Memory (RAM) Required to Run in System: -In system 4 GB or more RAM is mandatory for smooth operation. If SSD is there in the system then 4GB RAM is enough. While running the desktop application at least 1 GB available, 1.5 GB or more is recommended to perform the operation.
  5. Display Resolution Setting: - At least 1440x900 or 1600x900 (16:9) recommended. Lower resolutions such as 1024x768 or 1280x800 are not recommended, as certain controls (such as closing the startup screen) display beyond those resolutions.
  6. CPU: 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster x86- or x64-bit processor recommended.

First of all, an individual who is a beginner or a working professional, can create a number of effective and simple visuals without writing any programming or developing anything. Readily all visuals are available to use, get swift insights of data, and finally share and collaborate peers or “CXO’s” within the organization, publish the report on to Power BI Service.

By the end of this course, you would have gained knowledge of the use of data analytics techniques and the DAX language to build applications on data. This will help you land jobs as data analysts.

Taking up this Microsoft Power BI Certification Training undoubtedly will be one of the valuable training for your career and sure it will help you become a Power BI expert. It will also help you sharpen your skills by offering you extensive knowledge on Power BI. As a part of this Power BI Training, you will be working on real-time projects.

Power BI uses Azure active directory to store user identities rather than when the data that uploads by a user in the form of datasets are eventually stored in Azure block storage and the metadata of the data files are stored in Azure SQL server. When users interact with Power BI service all requests are managed by API and the Gateway role and after arriving at the request from API and Gateway Power BI knows how to deal with it.
