When enrolling for a PMP® certification training from any institute in New York, it is very important to know their mode of training. It will be best if they are doing :

  • Classroom Coaching: Face to Face training where you can interact with the trainer in real time
  • ELearning: they should make the training content available offline for reference as per your time
  • Online: Live Online training for specific needs and support

With that said, before you enroll for PMP® training in New York, make sure you have done a thorough background check.  The points below will be useful for that

  • Get to know the knowledge and qualification of the PMP® trainer. He should also be good at imparting knowledge and should have ample experience to support.
  • With the high stakes involved, it would be best to select a PMP® certification training institute which can offer you Simulations and Mock Tests closely matching the actual exam to assess your readiness.
  • PMP® preparations would ideally need a minimum of 45 days of training with about 2-3 hours per day on a continuous basis for best results. Analyze and check the training schedule of the institute to check if it is in line with this expectation.
  • The PMP® syllabus is very vast and would need a lot of dedication and efforts to learn. It also involves a lot of problem-solving as well as real-time issue analysis. So make sure the institute you choose is able to cater to this intense training and implementation examples.
  • Last but not the least check the details of the material they will provide you at the end of the training. A good institute would give you a 35 hours training certificate, hard copy or soft copy of the training material, exam references, solved exam papers and link to online materials as well.

A good trainer is your best bet for clearing the PMP® examination, so when you are selecting a PMP® trainer in New York, please keep the following things in mind:

  • Know the details about the trainer – his experience, his knowledge, his training success rate and how long he has been taking the PMP® training.
  • You need a lot of focus and time to prepare for PMP®, check if your trainer would be available during off training hours for clearing doubts and other support needs.
  • It would be great to have a trainer who is flexible with the training schedule based on your learning pace.
  • Get the details of the training the trainer will provide; these are very important for reference after the training is over.
  • Make sure the trainer has an online repository of the study material and you are provided access to read and download the material from there.
  • PMP®, being an extensive course, make sure your trainer is available to provide you guidance and support during and after the training sessions.
  • It will be good to have a trainer who is certified as a Registered Education Provider (REP).
  • Make sure the course is available online for you to refer at a later point if needed.
