Certification

PRINCE2® Foundation:

Prerequisites:

There are no eligibility criteria for the PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Exam; however, basic project management knowledge would be advisable.

The Exam

The exam will be computer-based and will be given at the end of the PRINCE2® Foundation Course. On passing the exam you will be given the PRINCE2 Foundation certification.  The exam format is as follows:

  • Multiple choice
  • 60 questions
  • 33 marks required to pass (out of 60 available) - 55%
  • 60 minutes duration

PRINCE2® Practitioner:

Prerequisites:

In order to appear for the PRINCE2® Practitioner exam, candidates must hold one of the following credentials:

  • PRINCE2® Foundation
  • Project Management Professional (PMP)®
  • Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®
  • IPMA Level A® (Certified Projects Director)
  • IPMA Level B® (Certified Senior Project Manager)
  • IPMA Level C® (Certified Project Manager)
  • IPMA Level D® (Certified Project Management Associate)
The Exam:

The exam will be computer-based and will be given at the end of the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner Course. On passing the exam you will be given the PRINCE2® Practitioner certification.
The exam format is as follows:

  • 38 marks or more required to pass (out of 68 available) - 55%
  • Two-and-a-half hours (150 minutes) duration, no additional reading time

There are no prerequisites if one wishes to attend the workshop but in order to appear for the Practitioner certification, candidates must have one of several credentials, mentioned above. The Foundation Level examination has no such prerequisites.

You will get 32 PDUs on completing the PRINCE2® Foundation and Practitioner training.

PDUs are credits awarded by the Project Management Institute(PMI). They recognize your dedication to the Project Management world through the award of credits for every educational effort you make throughout your career.  Every PMI® certification, except the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)®, requires you to earn a specific number of PDUs per three-year certification cycle
