PSPO-A Training and Certification FAQs

PSPO-A Certification

The PSPO-A certification is offered by the Scrum.org, a world-renowned body dedicated to helping professionals, leaders, and organizations embrace agile by understanding its principles, processes, and values. 

Scrum.org requires you to clear the PSPO-A assessment to get the PSPO-A certification. While taking the PSPO-A course is not mandatory, it is highly recommended. The objective of the course is far beyond just helping you clear the assessment. Our instructors impart learning from real-world experiences to help you excel in your role as a Product Owner. 

The following steps are mandatory for getting PSPO-II Certification
  • Step 1: Register for KnowledgeHut’s PSPO-II course and attend the 2-day training. 
  • Step 2: You will receive the assessment key from Scrum.org by email soon after the course. 
  • Step 3: Take the PSPO Level II assessment. Score a minimum of 85% on the assessment during this one-hour open book assessment.  
  • Step 4: Once you have successfully cleared the assessment, you can download the PSPO Level II certificate.

Scrum.org will send you the key post successful completion of the PSPO-II course. 

Yes, you will receive a course completion certificate on completing the course. 

You will have to attend two days or 16 hours of PSPO-A training under a Professional Scrum Trainer (PST) following which you will receive a key to the PSPO II Assessment. Once you pass the Assessment, you are declared PSPO-A certified and can instantly download your certificate. 

PSPO II Workshop Experience

The PSPO-II workshop at KnowledgeHut is delivered through PRISM, our immersive learning experience platform, via live and interactive instructor-led training sessions.

  • Professionals licensed by Scrum.org to teach the official Scrum.org curriculum

Our dedicated team of PSTs deliver high quality training at par with the standards of excellence set out by Scrum.org®. Every candidate receives the same standard of training and content, irrespective of the trainer and the location. 

Our PSPO-A course focuses on engaging interaction. Most class time is dedicated to fun exercises, lively discussions and team collaboration, all facilitated by an instructor who is a Professional Scrum Trainer and an experienced Scrum practitioner. The focus is on practical solutions to real-world, Product Owner challenges drawn from decades of experience as product managers, Agile coaches and Product Owners in Agile environments.

Yes, your PSPO-A course material will be provided in advance. You will receive an email with a link to set your password a few days in advance of the scheduled course. Once you log in to PRISM, you will have access to the study plan and all the course material. 

The PSPO-A course material comprises of the course schedule or study plan, workbooks and all relevant assignments, assessments, or case studies. 

The PSPO-A sessions would be auto recorded on PRISM, subject to permission by Scrum.org® and the PST. Based on the permissions, you would have lifetime access to the video recordings of the sessions as well. 

If you miss a PSPO-A, you may access recordings of the sessions from PRISM, provided Scrum.org and the PST have permitted recordings. At the beginning of every session, there will also be a 10-12-minute recapitulation of the previous class.
