Project Risk Manager is a role that has been created to fill the real need for a professional who can assess, analyse and curb risks while still maintaining a basic level of competence in project management.

The Project Management Institute-Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)® credential recognizes a Risk Manager’s expertise in identifying project risks and mitigating threats, while making the best of available opportunities.

Our 3-day course will hand hold you through Project Risk Management concepts, tools, techniques and processes based on different project and risk management standards including but not limited to the Project Management Institute(PMI)® standards and will train you for a specialized role in project risk management. It will also prepare you to sit for the PMI-RMP® certification Exam.

Certification

Prerequisites:

To apply for the PMI-RMP® Credential, you need to possess a:

  • Secondary degree (high school diploma, associate’s degree, or the global equivalent)
  • 4,500 hours of project risk management experience
  • 40 hours of project risk management education

OR

  • Four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or the global equivalent)
  • 3,000 hours of project risk management experience
  • 30 hours of project risk management education
Certification:

To apply for the PMI-Risk Management Professional Certification Exam, participants have to login to PMI's Online System to get started.

The Exam:

The certification exam has 170 multiple-choice questions and you have 3.5 hours to complete it.

You will get 40 PDUs toward your continuing education requirements with the Project Management Institute (PMI) for Project Management Professional (PMP)® and PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)® certifications.

PDUs are credits awarded by the Project Management Institute . They recognize your dedication to the Project Management world through the award of credits for every educational effort you make throughout your career. Every PMI® certification, except the CAPM®, requires you to earn a specific number of PDUs per three-year certification cycle.

Yes, you have to pay a separate PMI-RMP credential fee that is determined by your PMI membership status and the examination delivery type (computer-based versus paper-based) for your geographical location.

As part of PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements program, a PMI-RMP® credential holder will need to earn 30 PDUs in the specialized area of project risk management per three-year cycle.

You can take part in professional development and learning activities to earn Professional Development Units (PDUs),thus fulfilling the continuing certification requirements and ultimately growing and developing as a practitioner.

Any registration cancelled within 48 hours of the initial registration will be refunded in FULL (please note that all cancellations will incur a 5% deduction in the refunded amount due to transactional costs applicable while refunding).
