REQUIREMENTS TO BECOME A SAFe® 5 CERTIFIED SCRUM MASTER

Anyone can take part in the SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) certification course regardless of the work experience they have. The eligibility criteria for SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) certification is as follows:

Be aware of the Agile concepts, values, and principles
Have a basic knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, & eXtreme Programming (XP)
Familiar with software and hardware development processes

The SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) exam prerequisite is as follows:

Attendees should have experience working in a lean-Agile environment
They should have completed a training course delivered by a Scaled Agile partner, to get access to the exam and all related study materials

Steps to become a SAFe® Scrum Master

You are just a few steps away from becoming SAFe® Scrum Master Certified (SSM). Here are the steps to follow:

Register and attend a 2-day (14-16 hour) SSM training with a SAFe® Program Consultant (SPC).
Receive the SSM exam access and sign in to take the exam.
Pass the SSM exam with a passing score of 75% for SSM5 and 73% for SSM4 in 90 minutes.
Congrats! You are now a SAFe® Certified Scrum Master (SSM). Enjoy your 1-year of membership with Scaled Agile, Inc.
