Introducing Scrum in SAFe

Get introduced to the fundamentals of Agile and Scrum. This topic will help you understand the overall Agile development and how the Scrum process is implemented in the SAFe framework. Also, you will learn how to perform a Scrum Master’s role within a SAFe enterprise as a certified SAFe® Scrum Master.

What is the Scrum Master role in SAFe?

The SSM curriculum covers the role of a Scrum Master in a SAFe enterprise, the responsibilities of the SAFe Scrum Master and facilitating Scrum throughout the enterprise.

Experiencing Program Increment (PI) Planning

The SAFe® Scrum Master (SSM) curriculum covers Program Increment planning, creating and reviewing drafts of PI plans, getting those plans finalized by checking against a set of PI objectives, and successfully executing the PI Planning.

Facilitating Iteration execution

This topic in the SSM curriculum includes planning the iteration, tracking the progress of the PI, and everything about executing the PI effectively. This also includes refining the backlog, facilitating team progress and demonstrating relentless improvement towards product development.

Finishing the PI

You will be introduced to the management techniques of PI iteration and the nitty-gritty of facilitating the Inspect and Adapt event review at the end of each Program Increment (PI).
