Overview

The ITIL® certification scheme provides a modular approach to the ITIL framework and is comprised of a series of qualifications focused on different aspects of the ITIL best practices to various degrees of depth and detail.

The tiered structure of the qualification offers candidates flexibility relating to the different disciplines and areas of ITIL and the ability to focus their studies on key areas of interest. ITIL is currently evolving from ITIL3 to ITIL4 with a clear transition journey from one scheme structure to the other.

WHY ITIL®4 MP

ITIL 4 Managing Professional (MP) stream provides practical and technical knowledge about how to run successful IT enabled services, teams and workflows. It is aimed at IT practitioners working within technology and digital teams across businesses.

ITIL 4 Managing Professional (ITIL MP) is a stream of four modules that are part of ITIL 4, the next evolution of ITIL. The four modules are: 

  • ITIL 4 Specialist Create, Deliver and Support 
  • ITIL 4 Specialist Drive Stakeholder Value 
  • ITIL 4 Specialist High-Velocity IT 
  • ITIL 4 Strategist Direct, Plan and Improve. 

For those who are already an ITIL® Expert (or have obtained 17 credits) in ITIL®V3, they can opt for transition easily to become an ITIL 4 Managing Professional, by taking ITIL®4 Managing Professional Transition Module.
