PMI’s passing score for the PMP® exam for each aspirant is different. The exam score is determined based on the difficulty level of the set of PMP® exam questions you have answered. PMI uses a scientific approach to determine whether a PMP® candidate is eligible for the PMP® certification. The report card will show the Target level i.e. above Target, Target, Below Target and Needs Improvement.
When you apply for the certification, PMI grants you a 1-year period during which time you are eligible to appear for the exam 3 times. The first attempt at the PMP® exam costs $405 for PMI members and $555 for non-members.
If you fail at the first attempt, you can retake the PMP® exam again at a cost. It is $275 for the computer-based exam for PMI members and $375 for non-members. It is cheaper for the paper-based exam. It is $150 for a PMI member and $300 for a non-member.
If you fail the second attempt, you still need to pay to retake the PMP® exam.
If you fail to pass even after the third attempt, then you are required to wait for 1 full year from the date of your last test attempt before re-applying for the exam.

Training was really good and informative. Many tips were given on answering questions. Overall training was really good .
The PMP preparation training that I took, was very elaborate and helpful. The trainer is extremely supportive, and reachable. There could be some improvements done in accessing the materials, I had a bit of challenge there. Also, a few more mock assessments would really help. Overall, a great learning experience with KnowledgeHut!

HOW TO EARN PDU’s FOR CONTINUING PROJECT MANAGMENT CERTIFICATION IN BERLIN?
The PMP® certification in Berlin is valid for only three years. This validity is established so that the candidates stay up-to-date with the latest technologies. To undergo the certification, you need to follow CCR program or continuing certification requirement program. Before your third anniversary of getting the project management certification in Berlin, you will receive a mail from PMI® reminding you of the recertification. Along with the mail, a handout for recertification process and a form for filling PDUs would be attached. Every hour you spent for gaining or developing your skills related to project management is considered as one PDU.
Here are a few ways to add more PDUs to your application form.
You can take any online or classroom project management courses in Berlin from reputed institutes like KnowledgeHut. If you had received your PMP® certification from Berlin, it is not a rule to have your PDUs in the same city. For a course to be added to your PDU
a) It should be related to PMP® or any key area of PMP®.
b)The institute should be certified by PMI® like KnowledgeHut.
c)The education program should be accredited by GAC
One such institute is KnowledgeHut. If you are choosing a reputed institute in Berlin for your recertification process, you would gain a little more than just PDUs.
If you are working in a job related to project management, you can easily gain your PDUs. Your everyday work related to project management skills and knowledge can be added to the PDU list.
If you are able to share your knowledge with others, it would be considered as PDU too. Sharing knowledge can be done through the following ways.
a)Creating presentation to share your knowledge with others, especially the knowledge related to certification. For instance, you can present at a PMI chapter event, organization training or any professional conference.
b)Your training sessions with your trainees or time taken for mentoring any apprentice can be added to PDUs.
c)Creating contents which would help others to learn about project managementwould be considered as PDUs. It can be books, articles, blogs or webinars.
Many institutes like KnowledgeHut also provide online materials for studying. This self learning time can also be added to your list of PDUs. Self directed reading related to project management is also PDU activity.
Not all institutes for project management training in Berlin provide this opportunity. Download the handbook for recertification and learn about the ways of earning PDUs. Talk to various institutes which offer PMP® training courses in Berlin to identify whether they would fall under the criteria. If yes, you can start taking online PMP®certification training classes in Berlin, for adding PDUs. Online classes for recertification training will be a better option than the classroom training as you would have enough time for your job or other ways of earning PDUs, which includes reading e-learning materials provided by your online courses, or providing online training for other candidates. It is always better to gain a little more than what is required as sometimes certain hours would not be accepted by the board.
